Account and billing
Plan tiers, metered AI usage, invoices, and how to manage your subscription.
Last updated May 11, 2026
AI Card Vault is invite-only right now while we refine the product with a small dealer cohort. Pricing is intentionally flat and not credit-metered for inventory operations, with a small metered envelope for AI identification.
Plan tiers
There is one paid tier today — Vault — billed monthly per seat. Your dashboard shows your current period, renewal date, and a link to the customer portal.
We deliberately don't ladder you into stock-count gates ("upgrade to manage more than 1,000 cards"). Inventory is inventory. The market's stock-count tier pricing is one of the things that pushed us to build the vault in the first place.
Metered AI usage
AI identification credits are the one metered envelope:
- Your plan includes a monthly identification quota (currently 10,000 / month on Vault).
- Each card identification consumes 1 credit, whether it's resolved by CardSight or by the Gemini Flash fallback.
- Re-identifying a card consumes a fresh credit.
- Price lookup is not metered against this quota.
Quota resets on your billing anniversary. If you blow past quota mid-month, AI identification falls back to a "queued" mode that runs overnight at half priority. Or you can buy an add-on credit pack from the customer portal.
Where to see usage
The Dashboard surfaces a small usage card with current-period identification credits used and remaining. The same data lives at /settings/usage with a per-day chart.
Invoices
Invoices generate automatically each billing period and email to the account owner. The customer portal also has a downloadable history (PDF + CSV).
Updating payment method
From the dashboard, click your avatar then Billing → Manage billing. That opens the Stripe-hosted customer portal where you can update your card, billing email, and address. We never see your card number directly.
Cancelling
You can cancel from the same portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data stays in the vault for 60 days after cancellation in case you want to re-activate, then is purged. You can export everything as CSV before then.
Refunds
We don't auto-pro-rate, but if something's wrong (a billing glitch, a feature that doesn't work for your use case) email us and we'll sort it out. We're a small team and we read every message.
